Washed Away
Nothing's changed except me and the facts
And the sadness I didn't mean to start.
But it feels different now you've said
It's wrong, and I still can't see your point.
And I think as water runs over my hands that
That's really all there is or can be.
The gold is wearing off the infamous ring
And something wears away from around my heart.

Lilac Skies
I would wake up to see the sky ,it was a misty mirage
I would run out to feel the dewdrops between my toes
The air was fresh with the slight cool breeze
The smell of fresh cut grass mixed with yellow tulips
Sun rays softly kiss my skin while it was warming me
The sun started to get hotter and hotter
I started hearing the buzzing bugs
It grew louder as the air heated
I could hear the ocean waves crashing into the scorching sand
How the sea foam fizzed when the sun touched it
The hot day went on while turning colder by the hour
The breeze started to come
Finally the moment I have been waiting for
It was like a floating orange surrounded by nothing but by lilac skies.
